What we collect

What you type to Sam. Your questions and Sam's answers are stored so we can improve recommendations and publish helpful answers publicly. Don't put confidential or personal information into the chat. Treat it like a conversation in a store, not a private message.
Your email address, only if you give it to us to receive a shortlist or the newsletter.
Click data. When you click out to a company, we log which link, when, and which conversation it came from, so we can be paid correctly and understand what's useful.
Basic technical data your browser sends: IP address, approximate country, browser type, referring page.

What we do with it

We use it to run the site, prevent abuse, get paid correctly by the companies we refer you to, and improve what Sam recommends. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

Sam is powered by a third-party AI provider; the text of your conversation is transmitted to that provider to generate a response. Our hosting provider processes technical request data. Affiliate networks set their own cookies once you land on a company's site. Their handling of your data is governed by their policies, not ours.
